Madonna Cancels Australia with No Reason Why
There’s a lot of controversy flying around about the cancelled Australian leg of Madonna’s “MDNA Tour.” Madge’s camp is saying that the dates down under hadn’t yet been confirmed; while those in the Australian press are saying that stadiums in both Sydney and Melbourne had already been booked for the Queen of Pop. The cancellation may have gone a bit more unnoticed, had Madonna’s reps issued a less confusing statement; and if Madonna would give a reason why she’s ditching Australia for her third tour in a year.
When the cancellation was announced a spokesperson for Madonna said, “Madonna’s tour will end in South America in December as planned. That’s all we can say. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for this tour. She appreciates her Aussie fans coming to many of the shows.”
But if that’s all they can say, why make a point of saying it all? And if the Australia dates had yet to be booked, why did an announcement have to be made saying that they were in fact, not going to be. Some fans took to Twitter to announce their disappointment, and the fact that Madge hasn’t touched down lately in the land of Oz hasn’t gone unnoticed.
“Madonna fans Australia-wide, myself included, are sad beyond belief,” writes one fan. “She hasn’t been here in my lifetime.” But Moss and Madonna fans alike can relax; it turns out they may not even be missing much.
Fans walked out by the hundreds in Madonna’s recent London concert, calling it the “worst gig ever” on their way out and again, taking to Twitter as they did so. Bad sound, a mishmash of songs they’d never heard, and bad weather in an open-air arena were the reasons given, but Madonna certainly didn’t help herself. Between shouting out “We love you Poland!” during the London concert, mooning the audience, and leaving early, Madonna doled out a lot of disappointment along with her lesser-known tunes.
What’s in store for the rest of Madonna’s “MDNA Tour?” With this one, you never know. But she’s definitely not going to Australia.
Luis Miguel: The King of Romantic Music
Nothing can cause the goose bumps to crawl up and down your arms like listening to the serenaders of Latin American music. The trombones, the trumpets, the Spanish guitars ring in hot Mexican nights with magnolia blossoms and roses wafting the scents through a crystal clear evening, studded with stars. No one can strum on the heart strings of the love-struck romantic like Luis Miguel.
Beginning his career at the tender age of eleven, Luis Miguel released his first album, “Un Sol” in 1981. He has done nothing but wow his audiences since then. By the age of fifteen, he had already cemented his role in Latin American music by winning second place in the Sanremo Music Festival, and scooping up the “Atorcha de Plata” Award in the Viña del Mar Music Festival that same year.
With his blend of traditional Mexican salsa with a modern pop sound, Luis Miguel was destined to become a superstar. Thirty years later, a very grown-up Luis Miguel has done just that. His album, “33”, indicative of his age at the time it was produced, won two Billboard awards as well as Grammy and Latin Grammy award nominations. Wherever Miguel goes, it’s a sold-out show. He has taken audiences by storm in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and became the top selling artist in Chile, with over 2.5 million records sold.
His album, Luis Miguel, has received silver and gold certificates in four countries, including the United States. He is now coming to San Antonio, Texas to perform at the Alamodome, and to Los Vegas, where if you didn’t feel like a winner before, you’re bound to feel you won the winning ticket when you settle down to an evening of romantic entertainment with your significant other.
Who can make the heart melt and the eyes grow starry? Who was the first Latin artist to receive a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the only Latin American artist to perform at the show, “Sinatra, 80 Years, My Way”? None other than Luis Miguel, whose outstanding live performances and high grossing tours make him the artist you do not want to miss.

Make Plans to See the Honda Civic Tour: Linkin Park & Mutemath
What can be better than pimping your ride? How about pimping your ride and attending a rock concert at the same time? That’s what they call entertainment! Not only is Honda rocking the entertainment world, but it’s taken up the crusade for ecological sensitivity, energy conservation and sustainable practices. And why not? A Honda will get you 39 miles to a gallon in gas on the open road, and 28 miles per gallon in the city. With today’s gas prices, that’s a very appealing figure. Don’t tell anyone, but the Honda Civic has a hybrid that gets 44 miles to the gallon on the open road or anywhere else you’d want to go. That should definitely make you want to take a tour.
Linkin Park is burning it up, but not in gasoline. The Alternative metal band has become one of the hottest items of the turn of the century with music that combines hip-hop, modern rock and atmospheric electronics. Progressive is the word, and they are progressing into the rap-rock beat made popular by groups like Korn and Limp Bizkit.
Linkin Park titled their debut, “Hybrid Theory”. Wouldn’t you know it? Throwing a few hybrids around makes plenty of sense when you’re teaming up with Honda. Just in case Linkin Park isn’t rocking your socks off, Incubus is adding to the sound waves with their hard rock statements. Co-headlining their tour performance, they will be releasing a new album, “Living Things”, co-produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin, on June 26th.
If you don’t believe Honda can make a sweet ride, you haven’t checked out the sexy little 2012 Honda CR-V. That’s a va-voom that will excite any motoring pulse. While Honda decided to opt toward the conservative side with the new 2012 Civic, and lean away from the sporty look, its interior is built for pure comfort. Located on the Civic’s instrument panel i-MID integrates Bluetooth, fuel economy data and trip information. If you select navigation, which is available on the EX for about $22,000, i-MID will also give navigation instructions.
The Honda Civic remains at the top of the list as one of the most fuel efficient, economical vehicles you can buy, and the Honda Tours knows how to throw a mean concert!

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw “Biggest Country Music Concert of the Year”
Everyone knew that when Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, two of the biggest names in country music, teamed up for the first time in over a decade to go on tour, it was going to be something explosive — and ticket sales show it.
The tour, named “Brothers of the Sun,” has already sold more tickets than any other country music tour this year. And in fact, the day they went on sale in December 275,000 tickets were sold on that day alone. Because the tickets have already been available for several months, and because the two are such a highly-anticipated act, fans who want to see them when they stop in their hometown need to act fast. These hot tickets certainly won’t be around for very long and many shows have already sold out.
The tour begins on June 6 in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium and from there the duo will stop in over twenty different American cities throughout the summer. The tour will wrap on August 25 in Foxboro, Massachusetts at the Gillette Stadium.
Both artists are known for the thrilling country show they put on with the Oregon Live website saying that seeing Kenny Chesney live is an “escape with a guy who really knows how to show you a good time,” while the Huffington Post site said about Tim McGraw he “has the audience in the palm of his hand.”
After Selling Out, Fresh Beat Band Adds more Dates!

This group is dedicated to getting kids up singing and dancing, and using music in every aspect of their lives. And now, they could be coming to a town near you for the second leg of their tour.
Performing for over 200,000 fans thus far and already being named one of the most successful musical tours of the year, the first leg of the tour sold out incredibly quickly. And not ever wanting to disappoint their biggest, little fans, the band has added more dates. The second leg will begin in Paso Robles, California on July 22, 2012 and will travel throughout 50 different cities including Atlanta, Toledo, New York, Canton, Richmond, and more to put on a total of 70 different performances. Tickets are already on sale and to see if the band is going to be in a town near you, you can find full date and venue listings on the Fresh Beat Band tickets page on TicketSupply.com.

During the shows the band will perform the biggest hits from all three of the television show’s seasons.

Born Weird: The Story of Weird Al Yankovic
Weird Al Yankovic is not only a talented singer and song writer, but is also an actor, writer and one of the best parodists of our time! Weird Al has done over 1,000 live concerts, and they are often heralded as “can’t miss” shows. Lucky for fans, Weird Al is touring again in 2012 and making stops across the U.S.
The talented singer’s parody songs make fun of all we love in pop culture, from early 80’s song such as “Eat It” and “Like a Surgeon” to 90’s parodies “Achy Breaky Song” and “Amish Paradise”. Popular songs of the 2000 era have included “White & Nerdy” and “Don’t Download This Song”.
Weird Al’s 13th album, Alpocalypse was released in 2011 and wasn’t short on the hits! The title of the album was a spoof of all the doomsday predictions coming out at the time, as well as the 2012 end of the world prediction. The biggest hit of the album was a song poking a bit of fun at Lady Gaga and was entitled “Perform This Way” after the singer’s well known “Born This Way” tune. Other hits off the album include “Polka Face”, “Craigslist” and “Whatever You Like”. All and all in his career, Weird Al Yankovic has recorded more than 150 songs, which have earned him nine Grammy nominations and three wins.
Al has been keeping busy besides touring by writing his second children’s book. His first book was released in 2011 and was entitled “When I Grow Up”. It featured a protagonist named Billy who talks about all his future career possibilities. The new book is said to feature the same lovable character and is scheduled to be released in 2013. There is also some buzz that a new album is already in the works, with Yankovic himself confirming that he hopes to get into the studio sometimes this year to start recording.
For all his fans, those from his UHF days, to brand new fans who love his Lady Gaga parody, there is nothing like seeing the Weird Jedi himself live and in concert. Be sure to get your Weird Al Yankovic concert tickets before they are sold out!
